Job Description

The Web Software Developer works with the Project Manager and sometimes with the Client. The candidate should have a strong interest and proficiency in Web technologies. The Web Software Developer is responsible for the following specific tasks:

Assists the project manager in gathering and documenting the system requirements (including application setup, reports, interfacing, and the design look/feel of the site).
Improve old solutions, develop new solutions, and troubleshoot.
Create and run tests, checking the solution for issues.
Configure the SEE-K application and load data.
Configure advanced functionalities, including security and interfaces with ERP systems.
Test the client application to ensure that it meets the established requirements and is error free.
Works with the PM and/or Client through acceptance testing and make modifications to the application, if needed.
Interface with the team in Paris for training or questions.

Requirements

Candidate must have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science
Web Programming (ASP or PHP, HTML/DHTML, JavaScript, AJAX), advanced SQL (Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle databases), .NET platform.
Experience with XML, Photoshop and Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) is required.
Experience with coding in any object language (e.g. java or C++)
Candidate is autonomous and has a sense of initiative.
Experience with interrelated desktop applications such as MS Office and a passion for new technologies
Candidate should be able to provide examples of prior work
Candidate can legally work in the United States without VISA sponsorship
Knowing French would be a “terrific” asset
